Line and Shape Reflection (photo #3)
When taking my photos, I tried to find a lot of places with lines and shapes. Most of the photos I have are outside of my house, or on a previous vacation. The third photo on my weebly is of my front porch. When capturing the photo, I sat down right next to where I wanted to photograph, and I went really close. Also, I used my lens, to focus on just the closest part of the photo. My point of view was right beside the poles of the porch, kneeling down, almost as if it were the point of view of a smaller person or animal walking along. My photo was taken horizontally, just to get the view of walking along the reeling. In this picture, I did not use the rule of thirds, but in the second photo, you will see that rule taking place with the lines of the waves and the horizon. Lastly, when looking at my photo, my eyes usually begin at the focused part and makes its way along the photo diagonally along the reeling to the end, or, unfocused part. My main goal, was to make the viewers eyes be led the same way as mine were, but many people might not lead along the lines, and just look past the poles at the background of the road and trees.
