Studio Still Life
For my studio still life I chose to create something that could resemble me, not in a sentimental way, but in a way that was unique. I did a series of photos of "what's in my wallet." The meaning of these objects are what I carry with my every day. I gives you a sense of the places I may like to go or my age due to my permit and high school ID. This photo has more personal things compared to what I may have chosen to do. For my arrangement of the objects, In the first and third photo, I chose to put them all in a really organized set up, representing my neat and organized way of spending my money, and keeping track of all my personal belongings. In the second photo, I put them in more of a messy pile symbolizing how sometimes I may loose things or may not be able to find the amount of money I may want. The light in most of my photos is coming from above the left side. I manipulated my photos by putting them in black and white so that the different varieties of colors didn't take away from the main point of my photos. I think the stronger shot in my photo set is the first photo because it has a large depth of field creating the whole photo viewable to the eye opposed to one particular view point.
Found Still Life
My "found still life" was found within my room. The arrangement of my photos was just where ever the objects may have been in my room. I tried to find different things that weren't too plain so that there was a lot of variety within the one photo. The light in every photo is just coming down from the main light in my room which is on the ceiling. The meaning of these photos is just to show a bunch of things that I like in just three pictures. Each picture is from my room and arranged exactly how it was originally in my room which is significant to me.
