Studio Portrait Reflection (Photos #8 & 9)
Our assignment was to photograph our classmates in school to create studio portraits and experiment with lighting. The lighting in this shot (#8) is coming from above on the right side. The shadow is created on the left behind her. The model is positioned in the middle only shown from the torso up. She used the old camera as a prop, covering her face. The photo is horizontal. My point of view was straight on and somewhat up close. The models position and props show that the model is happy and enjoys taking photos. This photo compared to the one of both Casey and Riley looking up (#9) is that the lighting in the other is coming from the bottom and they are creating a mysterious feeling.
